Yamaha still mastering the sports segment of the domestic motorcycle market after losing its dominance in the automatic scooter (scooter), which captured the Honda. According to data from Indonesian Motorcycle Industry Association (AISI) during January-March 2011, garputala managed to hold the share of 46.8 percent or 79,671 units of a total of 169,930 units.

In the sport segment, Yamaha rely Vixion model as the backbone of sales with 60,682 units and Byson nicks 12,699 units. While Scorpio Z donate 6290 units.

Yamaha should be able to maintain domination by Honda secretly kept stalking. In the first quarter, sales reached 66,150 units or 38.9 percent share of relying on New Mega Pro, Tiger and the newest products CBR 250R. Moreover, the Honda CBR150R is rumored to be launched in the near future.
